2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally Turbo!!! Yes just i Just fabricated a custom 16G Turbo Kit. But i couldnt do it with out the help of my Sponsor's Bridgestone Tires, New England Automotive, Napa of Williston and John Forsthoffer . With this Turbo Build i rebuilt the whole bottom end of the motor to work with the whole top end that i had already built. I used Pauter Rods and Weisco 8.8:1 compression pistons and the pistons are also bored .020" over stock. as for the turbo I used a Evo8 Big 16g and a custom made turbo maifold with a megan racing 02 Housing. For the intercooler i kept it conservative nothing to big but not to small either, also used 2.5" intercooler piping. The stock computer isnt compatible with a turbo build so i went with a AEM Fully tunable computer. also had to get rid of the mass airflow sensor, and add a map sensor and a ait sensor so the car would run right. so that is just the start of what we did in the next page will list the rest of what i did for this turbo build!!
