1988 Buick LeSabre T-type
At the time this car was built, NASCAR had a rule that the body configuration the manufacture wanted to race had to be availabe to the public. Although I was a Earnhardt fan, there were Monte SS's everywhere, I wanted something different but still NASCAR related. The LeSabre T-type was it. Bobby Allison and Bobby Hillin both drove the T-type in competition along with a few others. It was probably Buicks heyday in auto racing, supporting NASCAR, NHRA, CART Series and Sports Car Racing teams.
This car currently has 27,469 miles, it has never been in the snow and only in the rain a handfull of times. It resides in the garage with the exception of the 500 miles it see's each year.
The car is all original except for the aftermarket air filter and the strut tower brace that was added. It still has all other original parts including tires, struts, brakes etc. the only thing that has been changed were it's fluids and filters.
