Since i Bought the car i have sanded the primed trunk down to find about an inch of bondo and holes so i pulled the dent and mig welded them shut and painted to match the car. This picture is just showing us towing it, it weighed more than our suburban and it was raining with cross winds. The U Haul trailer is ment for no more than 3500 lbs we put 5300 lbs on it:)

Here is the body work pictures
This is the first time my dand and i have done bodywork welding and painting.

This is after we primed and pulled the dent there was so much bondo where we pulled the dent we had to use a heat gun and a knife to get it off

Mike, I love this car! I had one just after high school and loved the car. I had the sport model with the 425cid engine and the turbo 400 trans. you notice the shifter only has two forward positions? If left in drive position it will have smooth shifts but if you hold it in low and shift from low to drive and back to low it will shift very firm! Hope it works for you cause you WILL like it. I would really like to find another one to restore. What a cool ride! Be sure to really thank and enjoy your DAD. GOD bless you. Bob
