IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThis is the Intercooler Bracket that I fabricated from special flat stock and Welded. You have to acutally need to make the dimensions just inside of the headlights. I then painted it with the leftover paint from the engine compartment.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroHere is the God Speed Aluminum intercooler with out all the rubber crush guards. You can see the bottom of the intercooler where the 3" inlet and outlet pipes will run. I have to cut holes in the body where the battery and the Evap Canister used to sit.  I will post more pics when I get this accomplished.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroYou can remove all the excess crap behind the bumper but I wouldn't recommend it. You can see the bumper crush pads here. The main problem with mounting the intercooler behind the front bumper is the cooling capacity. Will it do it? A lower air dam will be installed to help direct air up in front of the I/C. But it will not be as big as the factory air damn which will direct air to the radiator.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThe front end trial fit without any air dams or lighting hooked up. I might run the factory fog lights for appearance unless it constricts the air flow too much. It will help keep bugs out of the intercooler fins too. But it has a nice clean appearance and will look alot better when I get the car washed.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThis is the Drivers Side Alumimum Pipe that I made from the group of pipes. I taped these in this format so I could tig them togethor.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThe Supercharger Needs to be reclocked from the standard direction. I pointed it to the 2:30 position so I could position the tubes. Basically you want to use as few 90 degree elbows as possible.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThis is the picture of the piping below the drivers side hole to the intercooler. You will have a few troubles with the fender support brackt and you will find that you need to remove this when you install the pipes. Overall this was a very clean installation. When I cut the holes in the body for the pipes, I installed a rubber sealer so it doesn't scratch the piping.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroThis is the bottom of the passenger side of the intercooler.  You can see that I still have 1 rubber elbow on this side. Simply because I ran out of aluminum elbows. I have to get on the net and find another elbow and get this fixed. This is a quick fix until I get it right. I have to relocate the fender side support bracket on this side because of the lack of room.

IBM-Tech's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroHere is the passenger side of the vehicle. You can see that I had to relocate the battery to install the piping on the passenger side. The battery is now located in the trunk area where the spare tire used to be. I bought the air horn from TPI Specialities and bought the rubber hosing from ATI prochargers. I still have to relocate the AIT (air intake sensor).
