Honestly, i'd go the 6" route, just don't do a body lift. Believe me, 6" lift is nothing on an explorer, you'll be fine. I had no problems with my 9" of lift and 33's. My current set up is horrible, it bounces and sways all over the place! but that's because i have no steering stabilizer, no front shocks, and no play in the leaf shackles, they are sitting flat. Next weekend i'm going coils!

Yeah, that's cool. If you're going to buy the lift, just go the 6" lift from superlift. Mine was $1000 shipped with extended brakelines, drop pitman arm, shocks, etc. I had no problems with it at all.
