At the end of may 2006, I changed my audio system with the new clarion radio with tactile screen, a JBL kit with crossover, tweeters and 6,5 inch speakers, 6 x 9 speaker JBL and a solo-baric kicker L7 12 inch.
Fall 2007:
I receive my new sub a kicker solo-x 18". I will start the installation this week-end. I will put 2 ZX2500.1 on it with 2 optima yellowtop batery and I will change the from batery for a red top.
We will make the final installation this winter.
Winter 2007-2008
We start the back seat audio set-up.
We make the isolation of the door in the same time we pass the cable for the electirc mirror.
APRIL 2008:
Final version of the solo-x 18" installation.
We start making the sub box. We change the spring system of the trunk by two shock to gain space for the box.
We build the box in the car due to the large size with 3/4 plywood and metal T-square.
We put the 2 batteries in the trunk.
We make the fiber glass this week-end.
We first make the form with fabrics.
We put resin on the fabrics.
We reinforced with a matte.
July 2008: the installation of the solo-x 18inch was finish.
We have problem with one of the coil and finally change the spair of the 2008 model.
We also have problem with the flip flop, because with the box and the electric engine, the trunk doesn't close, so we need to change the electric engine for smaller and redesign the flip flop system.
September 2008
We change the JBL composante kit for a CDT audio ES-06+ and the tweeter DRT-24
