The back seats were in mint condition but I wanted a new look. Went to a local upholserty shop and order a katzkin leather seat covers kit and they rebuilt the foam so the seat would feel like new. They also custom made black with green stiching shift boot and e-brake boot. Since I spend most the time inside of the car driving it I wanted the interior to look really good. Here are comparison pics of the old tan leahter and new Black and tan leather with green stiching and stealth embrodered in the headrest. The new interior also is way more comfortble this is probably the best thing I have done with the car so far. Just instaled new Defi BF Link Series guages with control unit II and new aluminum deforst vents. Please sign my guest book. Old tan leahter. Here is what the car stock interior looked like before the trim kit. Just armoralled the interior. I bought the carbon fiber dash kit off ebay and I think it looks pretty good. Here are pictures of all the carbon fiber trim pieces installed on the car. Here is the new leather. The new Defi BF links series guages install and finished look and new aluminum defrost vents. I replaced the Boost, engine temp, and oil pressure guages with the Defi in center of dash. Here is pictures of the dash and center console taken out of the car so I could replace the guages and deforst vents also with the new gauges is a Defi control unit II which has many options like play back, record , demo mode and more. Defi also replaces all the old stock sensors with theres so I also routed the wires from under the hood where sensors were to the contol unit in the glove box. The Defi gauges were one of the top rated aftermarket guages you could buy due to there extremly good accuracy and many functions. All the parts were put in the back of car and all bolts washers and hadware was labeled and put in plastic bags.I found directions on stealth 316. The dash being repaired and new deforst vents being installed. I reguled the vinly dash with amazing goop back to the foam because they where starting to come apart due to old age and heat. The dash being reinstalled into the car with new gauges and deforst vents. Finally getting it all back together. It was a lot esaier putting it back together then taking it apart. If you are going to replace the stock gauges you should also do the deforst vents because you will not want to rip the dash back apart very time consuming. If you dont have a lot of patience you will not want to do this job and there is a lot of trim peices that can break really easy so it best to take your time with it or have a shop do it. Also I finshed the rest of the cabon fiber trim in the Combination gauges and around the head unit. Please sign my guestbook. Nice Stealth, very hot rare car with pop/up lights! Check out my GTA sometime! A projector HID setup like I rigged into my POP/UPs might work on your car to!
