Update...
Well I've been putting it off for a while because I thought that it wasn't real but this car got totaled on 11-19-08... This car was an amazing experience for me and taught me so much. I loved this car with all my heart and it hurt so much to see it gone but thats the way things ended up. I still have her, almost fully intact minus a few parts that I swapped over to my new 1999 Civic Si. Thanks to everyone that ever left a good comment (or some creative criticism :|) One day she might live again, with most of the same parts that were on her in the end, but only time will tell. Pictures may be up sometime soon depending on how I feel...
A little foreword to some of you people out there...
I'm 19. This was and still is my first car. You may find it necessary to rate my car down. I don't know why you would do that but thats the beauty of this site; you can hide due to the anonymity of your vote. If your going to rate this car down, for any reason, let me know why. I've noticed that my exhaust system is rated the lowest at 3.5 stars... I find that funny because I have well over $1000 into the exhaust alone and it has a really sexy tone at 8,000 RPM while DOHC VTEC is screaming. Now I feel as if though some of these people that rate the car down are jealous of what others have and really, that shouldn't be the case. I see cars on this site everyday that I sit and drool over for hours and do I rate them down? No because I know what kind of work it takes to get to that point. At one time this car was on page 1 of all 26,000 Honda Civics on this site, now I can't even find myself in the '93's let alone all Civics. Do I believe that my car is the best? HAHAHAH, absolutely not but I don't believe that I got rated down for what the vehicle has done to it, I think it was rated down just because of some kid who wanted to go up a few ranks. No reason to start killing the ratings boys and girls, lets play nice and respect other's work...
FYI, this car was not handed to me. I performed all the work BY MYSELF. I have worked on this car for countless hours and I have spilled my blood, sweat, and tears into it, (also some serious cash). Not too many people can say that they do all of the work on their car by themselves but that is one thing I can pride myself in. So before you go to click this car down a few stars, take a couple of minutes and take in what it has done to it and what it has went through; the JDM engine swap that took 6 hours to wire correctly and loom; the full race suspension with 18 way adjustable coilovers and all the aftermarket crossmembers out the ass; the rear disc brake conversion with painted calipers that took one week to paint correctly; all the JDM parts on the car that cost countless hours to track down, work for, and install; and the ECU, which I tune myself using Hondata SManager on my computer; and finally, the overall cleanliness of the vehicle. The body has almost 200,000 miles and has gone through 15 years of harsh Northeastern winters and still looks mint. Take that all in for a second, then vote and try to put it down.
SYNOPSIS: DON'T VOTE MY SHIT DOWN UNLESS YOU HAVE DAMN GOOD REASON AND IT IS STATED IN MY GUESTBOOK.
Thanks to all who do respect this car for what it is...
Update: 9-19-08
Finally, some new pictures. I hope you enjoy...
Alot of people throw around the term "JDM". To some it means to leave the body stock and to throw a set of Chrome 19's on, to others its throwing on a set of amber corners on their EG or EJ, but to the few that do it right, its the act of changing every part on their USDM spec vehicle to the JDM spec parts. This process is extremely costly and time consuming but in the end, its worth it. The JDM impostors out there, that make JDM considered rice don't deserve to slap that label on themselves and their car for their minimal amount of work. They take down the entire community that works so hard on their clean JDM styled rides and place a negative outlook on us, the JDM community. The truth is, unless your car is directly imported from Japan, the car isn't JDM, and I understand that, but by throwing a set of all amber corners while rocking black painted steelies shouldn't give you the right to call yourself JDM. That's all I have to say about that, and you can call me an asshole but thats what I feel and I'm not afraid to say it how it is.
-Also, if you spell VTEC wrong, you are dead to me.
