My 1988 325ix Bimmer!!! -AWD!!!!!!!! -Got 16" rims (TSW) with nitto Gen tires. -Eibach 15mm wheel spacers. -two 10" lighting Audio subs powered my a Jetsound 500watt amp. -speedindex clear/red tail lights. -JVC 250watt headunit -stock sound system. -3 1/2" muffler -1989 M3 wing. (rare) -painted valve cover -installed 2 other speakers in the back right between the factory ones. -Bavauto.com performance chip. -Bavauto.com high flow air intake (K&N) -1997 Z3 shifter, (short shifter) -80W HID lowbeams -100W HID highbeams
The engine in this car is a 2.5L inline 6. It has 185hp(with chip+ intake), and 172 torque at the crank. Just if anybody was wondering.
The engine i'm working on now -ported and polished -resurfaced decklid -new valve springs -upper and lower valve retainers -recut valves -new rocker arm shafts -new rocker arms -272 camshaft -Vacmotorsport steel headgasket -ARP head studs -19lb bosch fuel injectors -LC-1 Wideband O2 sensor -Megasquirt II v3.0
Plans: From the top to bottom: -ported/polished intake manifold. -Ross dished forged pistons.(will lower to 8.3:1 CP) -Ross forged connecting rods. -New main and rod bearings. -log style turbo exhaust manifold external wastegate. -Garrett T304 turbo. (10-18psi) -HKS innercooler 24x12x3. -megasquirt II fuel system -bavauto.com sparkplug wires with plugs. -bavauto.com fuel pressure regulator. -3inch exhaust turbo back I have gotten a quote from 2 performance places and it seems possible to get at 18Lbs of boost 400+ horse power.
