MR2sXceler8's 1995 Toyota MR2

My MR2 upgrade. I've been driving my 1993 NA for about 3 years and finally got my Turbo car. Found a great deal out in Dallas Texas and picked it up a couple of weeks later

The car is as much of a sleeper as a turbo car can be... all i've done to the car is added the wheels off of my 1993 and gave the car a full detail job. The car looks better than most '00's on the road. The car is a fully loaded model with the premium sound and the 2 tone black on tan leather. The car came with ABS (which is great for everyday driving but isnt' the best at the track when you want 10/10ths from the car) and a factory LSD. Basically top of the line for that model year; not to mention there are less than 500 on the road from '95.

As far as the engine is concerned it has the following list of modifications:

-ATS CT27 turbo
-ATS Fuel Rail
-ATS FPR
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Greddy side mount Intercooler
-ATS Rebuilt CV joints and axles
-ATS dual tune ROM ECU
-Steel braided brake lines

The way the set up is right now the car made 261 whp and 268 wtq @ 17 lbs of boost tuned for 91 octane pump gas on a FULL stock exaust with cat minus the actual muffler. The only plans I have for the car right now is adding 550 injectors a full 3 inch exaust and a conservative retune for 18lbs and 93 octane. Similar cars with the same set up have made upwards of 300whp... so we'll see how it goes. You can look at www.atsracing.com for some of the cars that they have set up and see what the potential is of the CT27. All i know is that the turbo is efficient to 22lbs.... that plus some C16 should make some good numbers. Until then i'll be satisfied with the 260.

i have 350 cubic inches in a 3200lb car. my car ran mid 14s stock... not high 15s. if you still doubt i can run 12s with intake/heads/cam/exhaust maybe you just look at other people with similar setups... or better yet i'll meet you and your toy at the track
