My vehicle is a 1991 J-Limited model, imported second-hand from Japan. For those of you who are not familiar with Japanese market special editions here are a few facts on the J-Limited:
-Sold in 1991 in Japan only
-Only 800 examples were made.
-All sold out in the first day.
-All were painted Sunburst yellow, which was the first time the colour was offered in Japan.
-The only other time yellow was offered in Japan was the 1994 (1800cc) J-Limited2,but unlike the 91 model it had a black painted windscreen frame.
-The interior was standard black with cloth seats, but had a wooden gear knob, handbrake handle and steering wheel.
-Everything else is base spec model, though with all usual options. Mine has aircon, power steering and electric windows, Limited slip diff, plus a few other goodies that I'll tell you a bit more about in the following pages.

-The only real additions I've made to the exterior so far are the clear tail lights, the vented headlight lid and the alloy fuel cap I retained from my old car.IMBECL's 1991 Mazda MiataIMBECL's 1991 Mazda Miata
I have also colour coded the sills and added a factory style lower lip spoiler(above right).Who needs a heavy and expensive body kit when the factory kit looks so good!. As you can see by the pic at the top of this page, I have finally gotten the new nose cone mounted, though it might be a while before I can find the funds to paint it. It is a locally made copy of a Japanese nose made by HKS Kansai. Update-It has since been removed and the standard nose replaced as I intend to sell the car soon.
