So this is how the car started

jd3776's 1968 Ford Mustang

Daily driver from Bonners Ferry, Idaho with 151 000 mls

Looks pretty good on the outside, never been in an accident

jd3776's 1968 Ford Mustang

Interior was much the same story, sun warped dash pannel, vinyl pretty warn down on the drivers side and the gauge cluster was losing a little, ok a lot of its chrome.

Wow what a badass Mustang! I hope mine looks as good as yours when its done. Why did you paint 13 coats of paint by the way? I plan on only doing 4 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear.

Thats a fine pony you have. I am in the process of restoring a 65 convert. that I will be painting that same color. A friend of mine painted his 69 camaro with the same brandywine and it looks fantastic. Thanks for the compliments about my Boss.

Ya I have already fixed most of the bad spots on my car I have cleaned and painted my frame and fixed the floor boards. niether of them were in bad condition as I thought they would be they were acually really solid the floor boards had some little rust spots so I fixed them and for the frame nothing was acually wrong with them just really dirty and some surface rust. now all I got to do is fix the 1/4's everything else about the car is acually in pretty nice condition just token apart. and as for the 442 I dont know what we are going to do to it since its my moms car hopefully it will be done about when mine is done. dont know though it is worse shape than the cutlass. Your stang is still one of the best's mustang I have ever seen love the paint on it!
