Get a second battery. It will be cheaper than an alt, and do much more than a cap. Do not waste your money on a cap.

hey yeah thanks for lettin me know i sold my 12 i plan on gettin a L7 15 and i might try and get a bigger cap if it going to work but if you do get one let me know how well it works cya
