its been forever since ive updated so this goes out to updating my page:)

---UPDATE---

Redoing the main harness to ensure that everywire was still good to go from the O2 sensor meltdown.  had to take the altenator off to acomplish pulling the harness with the supercharger still on...pain in the butt to do anything with that stupid thing in the way.  my wife and i are also looking in to getting an 09 civic si when i get back from deployment.  :) sweet sweet victory... after 3 years of wanting one finally getting one...just not a black coupe.. its gonna be a rally red 4 door

---UPDATE---

I HAVE FUEL AND SPARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just gotta figure out why the injectors are firing constant sounds like some rewiring of the O2 sensor and injectors and everything else in the line!

---UPDATE--- SO... tore apart the head again this weekend the cams were 180* of what they should have been... dont know how I managed that one on install. but shes flipped and sounds better when turning over. still dont have any spark.. but the fuel is not gonna get anywhere since my fuel pump is still sitting outside the car... maybe if i get a snow day this week it will be back in

---UPDATE---

no fuel.  no spark.. in process of moving.. its cold and snowy and cant wait to get back in to pulling stuff apart.  if i cant get the head problem solved its another tear down block build and then if that doesnt work going to just swap engines..

---UPDATE---

New head gasket installed.. with a K&W copper spray seal.

its really  sealed up anything that could have leaked nicely.  flushed the oil system to get any coolant out.  got a new fuel rail its oem but i need an lines for the bdl rail i have.  should be together this weekend.

---UPDATE---

the head seems to be leaking between the block and head by the #4 cylinder this sucks being that i just put everything back together and was excited to to try to drive this this weekend.. i shall be taking it back apart this weekend and gonna check to see if its a bad seat or i might need a new gasket...

---UPDATE---

5 JAN 09

today was a stepping stone in the tegs history.. i got the head torqued down timing belt back on cams back in valve cover on.. dizzy attached.. and she got to turn over:)..  gotta still put the plugs in... and connect up the fuel rail.. put the radiator on and bleed out the system... new oil.. and she should be golden:).. i hope.. fingers crossed...i feel like a total tool though considering i had my dizzy on there for almost a year.. cap is a crane cams cap with the msd blaster coil and realized when i took it apart* mind you theres one hole that doesnt match up that was ziptied so i knew it was way old enough to have taken effect on sumtin* after it was apart im trying to set it to cylinder one.. and low and behold there is no rotor installed in my dizzy... i must have missed it when i put the dizzy together and totally didnt think about it till now... thats solved though and just gotta make sure i have everything set for a clean start... gotta install the exhaust too.. forgot that.. i had to fix a hole in the front of the muffler

--- UPDATE ---

21 DEC 08

my clutch blew while i was out at my cusins in 2006 i got towed, went to a local garage who insisted to fix the car as i wanted.  hoping for an act clutch and flywheel i paid the guy  700 cash and 300 in a check.. to get home.  on my way home the car started to slip and would not let me drive higher then 3rd gear.  as soon as i got home i removed the starter to find the clutch was not what i asked and was a stock acura clutch.  i canceled my check the next day and screwed the guy outta 300 but wish i had gotten to take it all back.  i left for basic the next weekend and got to order parts come november.  went home for xmas where i drove my car around lightly and then decided to park it in my garage.  got to my base ellsworth and decided to take some leave home in may of 07.. replaced the clutch single handedly and FORGOT to secure my o2 sensor wire up again.  took the car around for a test drive and the wire arced to my exhaust causing a short thru the electrical system.  car died and i coasted to a parking lot .. got the stratus and towed it back home where it sat till it got towed by my dad in june of 07 out here to ellsworth.  i worked for a few weeks on the car before i decided to take my header off to polish it up.. when i realized the wire attached to the exhaust.  pulled it off taped it up and started the car right up.  still seemed to have a bit of a problem though.. there was a slight oil leak from between the block and the head.  so tried to drive it downtown where it seemed to overheat and shutdown.. left it at a walmart lot where it cooled and in the morning started right back up.. replaced the iggy coil and pgmfi main relay... since there wasnt much of a leak from that point on i chose to upgrade the coil since theres a known problem with the dizzy getting hot and causing the flaw and started with an msd blaster coil.  needing a resistor/relay for this i drove the car downtown to a car shop to get the upgrade.. on the ride home the car decided to start throwing black smoke out the exhaust... determined this to be an overflow of oil in to the pistons.. and the headgasket to be blown.  trying to go on the cool side i thought a cometic gasket a bit larger then stock would be the best ... soon found wrong.. the head studs posted on the gasket and caused it to bend over its self and still leaked oil.  so got a stock oem gasket.. and decided since i had the money at the time id put new springs/ valves on it.  got it ready and then i got married...  car got towed to the garage at my new house out of the weather and lost all thought of time to do anything to her.  had my daughter in march and lost all money from driving back and forth to the hospital to see her in the nicu.  finally in aug i took the head down to johnson machine in rapid to get a 3 angle valve job and a mill.  it took them till november to get the head back to me.. 301 dollars later also.  now that ive had it back winter has set in... ive moved from my flightline job to an office job.. and still just havent had time to get her completed.  i have been able to get the head/supercharger temp installed and almost ready to torque down.  replaced most of the oil/antifreeze hoses.  and when the garage warms up more then -10 ill head back out there and get her back in to a working order.  hopefully santa brings me a heater for out there.

mods to come will be:

oil filter relocator with a front mount oil cooler.  oil catch box.  and a cry02 intercooler sprayer with a cry02 fuel line cryo bar.  also new fuel lines for an fitting for my fuel rail.  last but not least i also want to get hold of a gsr or type r transmission with lsd and the black and red stitched seats
