07 October 2008 -

 NSAneon's 1983 Porsche 944

Believe it or not, you are looking at a 52 dollar pigtail.  This is the VSS sensor pigtail and provides speed input to the PCM/Speedometer.  I hope, for the price, my car produces 50 more horsepower........

06 October 2008 -  Thank you very much for all of your support in recognizing my project 944/LS1 conversion as being worthy as being Showoff of the Week!  I really appreciate the support, and hope to represent the guy out there that is building his dream car out of his own garage as he finds the time (between kids homework, mowing the lawn, and the daily 9-5).

13 September 2008 -  Holy cow!  Don't let anyone tell you exhaust systems are a snap!  Been working on my welding skills while fabricating the exhaust.  You can see the progress on page 2!

CARDOMAIN.COM/CASTROL SYNTEC POWER 32 CONTEST
It's been a fun run but I finally lost to ORANGEKRATE by a 21% margin. If I got this far with an unfinished car, I wonder how far I would have gotten with a finished car. I am now going to work harder on completing the project - next time I'm going to go all the way!!

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST
Finally got dash in!! This is a test of the instrument cluster that I fabricated. Indicator lights are LEDs which required special consideration when wiring. Gauges are Autometer Carbon Fiber units. Fuel gauge is the universal 33-240 ohm unit.

IT'S ALIVE!!! 14 March 2008
Well after almost a year, it was time for the first firing of the engine. While I may look all calm and collected in the video, I was terrified! The throttle is computer controlled - I was praying that I did not make an error in the wiring for fear of the engine going to redline and sending the car out of the garage. Did not run engine long because the cooling system is not installed yet - that's next! Thanks to all of the folks that have left positive comments - - stay tuned!! In the meantine, check out the video and please leave a comment/rate it.
