Here it is after a couple hundred sheets of sandpaper. Enamel paint is really thick!!
Epoxy Primer finally goes on . . . .
At first I thought about painting the car HotRod Black, but then the thought of having to repaint the car everytime a bird took a dump on the car did not appeal to me.
....and when the air clears time for another coat This is what happens when you are not careful when you shake the paintcan too close to the car (and the lid is not on tight). ARRRGHHH!!!! Tried wiping the paint - bad idea . . . . . But after several hours of sanding and more (expensive) paint, it's as good as new.
Finally got one of the doors on. The shaved handles really look good!!
