dsilva91's 1974 Jeep Gladiator

A 1974 J20 fully loaded with all options but A/C. This truck is a prime example why you should never buy a car or truck after work on a Friday in the dark. I asked the guy selling the truck if it had any rust problems? (My new favorite come-back) "I havn't seen any rust myself". Big time rust on floors and rockers. Oh well, should have known better. I was blinded by "rebuilt" HiPo AMC401 engine and T400 trans within the last 1000 miles. Later I find out that the original owner stopped driving the truck right after the rebuilds and sat for years. That is why it's now loaded with rust.

Engine mods - Bottom end = rods have been ground and shot-peened, forged 30 over SpeedPro pistons with bushed pins. Crane Cams Truck cam with hyd. lifters and alum. roller rockers. Heads have been ported and 3 angle valveseats. Topped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and an Edelbrock carb. Will add my older MSD 6A box and MSD Blaster II coil. Truck will also get a set of Stan's Headers from Auburn, WA.

Just installed a Gladiator grill from a 68 truck. Pictures coming soon

Please support the rust rebuild.
