I Just got this 83 Mustang Gt T-Top 4speed car for 300 dollars. I am going to restore it. Picture of my project will be shown. Keep checking back.

The rear view. The rear bumper is off a 85 Ford Mustang LX witch I am taking off. The gas tank will have to be changed. I already removed the gas tank, remove two 13mm bolts, three 10mm bolts, and one 8mm.

The side view. The hole front nose was off a 85 Mustang LX so its no longer on there. I am going to try to find a 84 Mustang GT nose that has fog lights but still haves the look of the 83 honeycone nose. The reasone is because the 83 gt nose as the fog lights mounted right on the bumber.

When I took off the front clip I seen that this mustang has a aluminum front bumper. Not to many ford mustang has a aluminum front bumper. This bumper will save you 37lbs off the front end. I have only found this bumpers on 79 turbo cars. If you find one the rear bumper is aluminum two. I didnt get lucky on this one it has a steel bumper.

My plans are to change the rear end to a 8.8 and get rid of the 7.5.
Changing the car over to fuel injection with 5speed.
Motor and trans come from one of my parts cars, 92 LX.
84 mustang gt front cover I just pick one up at the ford swap meet at Ohio Expo for $150.00 came with the fog lights bar, fog lights, reinforcement, and fender flares.

I still need to get two good fenders. Fender clips, hardware, and a hood. I'm going with a 4" cowl hood from H.O.Fibertrends.

Going to clean up the engine bay. Filling all the holes up.
