This was my 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage that I owned for about 10 years before I let my sister use it and it spun out here in Columbia, SC (not her fault though, the axle broke from it having around 240,000 miles on it).
I am a witness that Mitsubishi's are not bad cars at all. I had no problems with this baby until the accident, just oil changes, tire changes, and tune ups.
My mods were 17" BSA Black Chrome lipped rims, Ractive High Performance Intake, Aerospeed Bomb Pipe Muffler, Performance HP Boost chip, Altezza Brake Lights, custom red interior paint, 5" Pioneer In Dash LCD with external DVD player, Urban Audio 500W Amp, Jensen Fiberglass 10" Subs.
It/I was a member of Xotic Motorsports, to this day still probably the largest black owned car club in the Southeast, with a 150 head count based in Columbia, SC. We had everything from imports to donks, big trucks, luxury, bikes, you name it, we had at least one or two of everything. We seperated and disbanded in '02.
