This is my 1978 Chevrolet Chevette. It is under construction. Though I bought this car for 900 bucks off the original owner. =]

** My Chevette has undergone new paint, , new transmission, new egr valve, new brake rotors and drums pads and shoes, new magnaflow exhaust, new carburetor, new dashboroard, new seats, new headliner,new inner back panels, new carpet, new alternator, new radiator, new fan, new fan clutch, new clutch, new clutch cable, new speedomter cable, new fuel pump, ALL ENGINE GASKETS, new ignition lock cylinder, new windshield washer pump, new windshield/gasket, new steering column, new thermosat, new oil pump, new oil strainer, new temp send unit, oil sendin unit, all 4 new monroe sensa trac shocks,5 American Racing 17X7 rims and Falken ZE912 tires. new Pioneer stereo with aux input, Custom JBL front/rear 5 1/4" and 4x6 speakers, new JL audio 13w1 13.5" sub, JL sub box, and JL e2150 2 channel 220W amplifier with rockford fosgate wiring kit.

New Paint!

The rims are a nice add on. The paint is not original. It was that goldish color. Now its a black cherry.

The sticker says Magnaflow. I just put this new exhaust on recently. It was done professionally. I am trying to debate on whether or no to make it have dual pipes or not. The old exhaust had blown out. It sounded really nice but was smelling bad and rattled a little.

This is the original 1.6L 1 bbl. Has 43K original miles. I have kept this car up to date on tunes ups. I had to replace the windshield washer pump. The air conditioning works very well. I haven't had to do any major work to get this car running very well.

This car has a very straight body. no dents, 98% rust free.

This is the old carpet. It looks white. It should be dark camel tan.

I have taken out the old carpet and I am replacing it with new molded carpet. The old stuff had a stench and ripped on the passenger side floor.

These are the seats. no rips. but ugly. I am going to get them reupholstered pretty soon. I have the shag seatcovers on. I think they are amusing. If you look closely you can see my original AM radio. HA. it works great and all, but unless I wanna hear about a race or something it does me no good.
