This is the page to chronicle the work done to my wife Cara's 2000 Nissan Maxima SE. We looked around for a good while before finding this one, which was a color that she liked, was equipped how she wanted it, and had good mileage. We have no pics of it stock, but here is the earliest pic that we have:

This was a picture taken the day after installing a set of Mille Miglia MM-11^2 rims. I had a set on my 1997 Infiniti I30t and my 1996 Nissan Maxima, and she always wanted a set. We found these for a good price and got them. They are wrapped in a set of 235/45/17 Falken Ziex Ze-512 tires. The tires were installed when we first got the car, and the rims went on 11.20.05. The only other "mod" installed early-on was a MOMO RaceAir Leather shift knob. This has moved from car to car since 2000. Cara bought it for me when we were first dating, but when we got the Maxima it was the only MT vehicle that we had, so I put the MOMO in the Maxima. It never left.
2 more (old) pics of the Maxima on the new Milles:

After 50K of us driving it, the Maxima was in need of some new toys. The struts were worn out, and the front rotors were toast. We decided that if we were going to do the work, we might as well upgrade. The upgrades were all cost-effective, gave better performance, enhanced the look of the car, and went together well. On July 16, 2006, I decided to install the new parts that I had been gathering for the last few weeks.
On went a set of Brembo rotors:

For the suspension, I went with a tried and true setup from my time with my I30. I went with Tein H-Tech Springs wrapped around Tokico HP Struts. They HPs lack the adjustability of the Illuminas, but are great for 99% of driving (and drivers), and with a mild spring setup like the Tein H-Techs, they work well without needing adjustability. Take a look at the before and after pics:

And a nose-to-nose picture with a stock 2000 Maxima:

Unfortunately, with the limited suspension travel of a Maxima, this is about as low as we could go without riding the bumpstops all day long. Sadly, it still looks like most sport sedans do, right off of the showroom floor. Fortunately, the increased spring rates on the Teins improve handling, yet keep the ride comfortable for daily driving.
Here are some additional pics of the Maxima. All of them are post-suspension.
A few pics after it was all washed up. I washed the Spec as well...
