u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery

Early Fall 2006, With a preteen son, our Disco is how we spend much of our Father & Son time in this busy world. The original plan was to purchase an older Rover. A less decked out model to build up until we found this black beauty from an EBay Dealer.
Not thinking we would actually buy it, we placed an offer a little higher than that we had planned for, but the newer truck made it worth while. As you can see we bought it!!!

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery It is our continued work in progress. It is garaged each Halloween, until the following Easter. We are currently saving up for: front & rear bumpers, rock sliders, winch, snorkel, fridge, and a Hannibal Awning. SO unless we can find some good used item(s) we will continue to save.

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery ....Mount Baldy, Colorado August 2005.... Thus far we have added a Hannibal rack, a set of Hella 4000 & four Hella 300 driving lights, a rear work light, Cobra CB, light grills, ladder, and OME 2" lift, Hilift, & diff covers.

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery As many weekends as possible we are camping, just the two of us, or with the boy scouts. Over the next three to four years we plan to have visited much of the US and maybe Canada.

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery Like yourselves, we hope the gas prices do not take a worse toll. We do our best to take great care and avoid any major breakdowns.

u2ra_winner's 2003 Land Rover Discovery We hope to see you
PLEASE sign our guest book & tell us were you are from!!!

Good to see people putting their 4x4 to good use, both off road and with the family. Very similar to what I have planned for my Sportage; good, dirty family fun! Thumbs up for doing your own work, too.
