The LS2:

Right now the only major modification are my Kooks long tubes.

As time and money permit, more things will be modified, to include full bolt-ons, modified stock airbox (to maintain stock appearance), etc.

Kooks Long Tube Headers

I chose the 1 7/8" headers because I want to leave my options open for if/when I decide to go head/cam.  These headers are ceramic coated as well.  Quality on these headers is top notch!  So far I am very impressed with these headers.

With the Corsa Sport and the Kooks, my car sounds BRUTAL!  Interior noise in the cabin isn't much different from stock, unless you go WOT.  Outside of the vehicle is another story all together.  This car sounds straight up mean, and I even got a thumbs up from this guy in the Chili's parking lot when I fired up my car to leave.  :)

Follow the YouTube link below to hear how the Kooks/Corsa combo sounds:

But the video does no justice of how awesome this sounds in person!

Corsa Sport Exhaust

I wanted the Corsa exhaust because I was looking for a clean looking exhaust setup that looked stock, yet sounded alot better. I love the Corsa tips because they're a quality piece of craftsmanship, and they look alot like the stock tips, except they're an inch larger in diameter. But most importantly I chose the Corsa Sport because it just sounds awesome.

Installation on this was fairly simple and straightforward. Unbolt the stock exhaust, and bolt up the Corsa. The clamps that come with the exhaust are nice, as I've yet to see any exhaust leaks.

For comparison, here is the stock exhaust, compared to the Corsa:

SLP Line Lock

This line lock is actually for a 2004 GTO, as I couldn't find one for an 05-06 anywhere. While this line lock functions as designed, it required a little finessing. All I need to do was rebend the SLP provided brake line, and relocate the MC1 brake line onto the other side of the master cylinder.

Follow the YouTube link below to see the line lock in action:

Yay!

Custom Skid Plate

I wanted to try something different and make a custom skid plate. I bought an extra stock skid plate, and had holes plasma cut out of it. Then I sanded, primed, and painted the new skid plate. I used a heavy duty brake caliper paint. Here are the results...

Modified Stock Air Box

Nothing fancy here.  All I did was replace the stock paper filter with a K&N drop in filter, and took a dremel to the side of the air box.  This should allow more air to flow into the air box and allow the mighty LS2 to breathe even better.
