Here are a few things that I have done recently to my 944. Great upgrades/mods/add ons.

First of all, I have chipped the car's DME/ECU. I was confused about which product to use in the 944 N/A, there are sooo many. After much research, reading blogs and threads, feedback columns on Ebay, etc, I came to my final decision. I went with a product from WeltMeister, which was a great choice. My Torque curves have been completely modified and the HP increase and raised Rev limter immediately changed the overall drivability of the car. Much better now over stock, especially when used with a high performance intake system. The fuel/air mixture seems alot more precise now, resulting in noticable throttle response increase and smoother more powerful runs through the RPM range, sweet. Check them out online and get yourself set for your 944 ASAP, highly recommended...The product for the 944 N/A 85.5-87 is the TC-5700.

Next, I decided to upgrade the cheesy old sealed beam heads, they have got to go. I went with a product from MS SpeedIndex, chose their Euro Crystal Projector(diamond cut) Headlights with H4 Xenon Bulbs. Great product at a great price and a substantial upgrade over the old sealed beam jobs, no doubt...

Next, is one of my favorite upgrades so far. So freakin sweet. I swapped out my entire gauge cluster for a 1991 Euro 944 S/2 Cluster with White Gauge faces, beautiful glass and perfect light directors which really increase the night vision of the cluster display, huge upgrade for the interior. Lovin it...

Now to the OEM gear shifter. I was going to do a custom job with some aftermarket shift knob and what not but I decided to keep it all OEM, well almost. I went to Mr. Gaiter, the only place to go for OEM replacements for Porsche. I got a brand new OEM complete leather shifter, and then headed over to www.9xauto.com for a titanlook gear shift pattern insert to finish the job, bravo...Love it.

Well, that wraps it for now. Keep an eye out, soon I will be posting pics of these awesome recent upgrades installed and fitted once I have updated pics. Also, I am now in the whole body work mode, aquiring some parts from overseas to represent the 944 LUX and also some custom stuff. I will be posting all of this as it happens, can't wait! Thanks a ton for looking!!!
