Okay, I am moving along pretty good with my progress, of course one idea at a time. It can sure get pricey when dealing with a Porsche that is 20 years old. Anyway, you have to pace yourself, be patient, and have plenty of documentation handy during backyard service projects and other forms of tinkering. I use a factory workshop manual set that provides the exact documentation for these do it yourself projects. I really enjoy, most of all, working on the car myself and doing it right the first time. Anyway, here is where I am at right now...
So far, this is a list of my accomplishments:
> cleaned, scrubbed, and hosed everything from top to bottom, left to right and back.
> I have completely brought back to life all of the plastics and trim in the interior of the car using strippers, luster and conditioning solvents, and armor all.
> Have deep scrubbed and shampooed the carpet kit in the front and rear of the vehicle, very impressed with the overall condition and look of the carpets now.
> I have changed the oil with synthetic lube and new filter
> I have tinted the small side rear windows. I will have the rear hatch glass done professionally.
> I have completely restored the clutch's hydraulic system. I replaced the Clutch Master and slave cylinders and the lines that run between them, flushing, refilling and bleeding the entire hydraulic system including the Brake master cylinder and calipers...Whoa, what a difference. My brakes are much more responsive and my clutch is a whole different animal now, awesome...I highly recommend a kick a$$ little product called the power bleeder. It makes bleeding hydraulic systems not only possible with just yourself, but a breeze to manage. here is the bleeder I used and the 2 cylinders that put the aww-yeah back in my clutch...All OEM stuff of course...

> I have completely gutted the entire factory air box assembly and installed a high performance RUF Shorti cold air intake system, slammed against the MAS. The engine is breathing much better now through the entire RPM range. :-) I will post pics of the intake system later...
>I have been working on the factory fuch wheels, they are coming along pretty well. I plan to make a full restore on these including new black center caps before posting them for sale on EBAY. I will be adding new wheels to the vehicle shortly, as the body work and paint job come along. Remember the pic earlier showing the tired old fuch wheel, take a peek now, lookin' better...

Okay, moving along to the interior, which I am becoming very proud of. One of the nicest touches so far was the dash overhaul. The only thing worse than the typical 944 dash cracks are the stupid cloth covers people throw across to cover them up. Hate those things. Check out the dash now, looks better than new...

I am so lovin the dash now, such an improvement!!!
> The next place I attacked was the seats. They were in pretty bad shape. I went with a product from a company called Iggee, out of CA. They manufacture replacement seat skins designed and custom made specifically for each model porsche, down to year, package etc. Great company, great product, and an AWESOME final look for the interior, again better than new! Check it...
Before...

After... Much Better!!!

Here are some things being done before the stripdown and paint, can't wait...
Possible Turbo/S2 front valance, or maybe something Euro along the lines of a 944 lux, maybe? I like the Fiberwerks Evo II front facia too, it's Hott...
U gotta put the Rear lower valance spoiler on, right?!?!?

Here is the steering wheel that will go in the final product, a MoMo Corse wheel and adapter, with a Porsche crest horn button instead of the stock MoMo button. Nice touch for the interior, will look good...

A recent couple of shots while it was clean...

On to page 3, thanks for lookin'!!!
