Cool, so pretty much all of the new purchases/upgrades are installed and setup, good to go. Coming along great. The reverse lights have all of the bugs worked out now, Shining brightly and turn on when they should, all new bulbs, etc. I replaced all of the bulbs back there, the fuses in the box, the rear backup light switch at the tranny and also found a loose faulty connection at the fuse box. All is resolved now and rockin, for sure. Everything else is solid as well, the rear hatch rebuild went great, latches tight, raises strong, etc.
So, we decided to partake in the PCA Swap meet this weekend at Hershey Park, awesome. Talk about great deals. I do not know if any of you guys gotta chance to get over there but it was well worth it, great vendors this year with an awesome selection of 944/951 parts everywhere. We got some really great stuff. Here are some of the parts I took advantage of and pretty much have installed everything already, good to go!!!
So, first is back to the Power Steering system restore. As I stated earlier I have a new rack and lines ready to go. This weekend I grabbed a new Power Steering Pump and Reservoir, ready to seal the deal and do the ENTIRE system, all at once, can't wait. This way the entire Power Steering system will be rebuilt from the ground up, literally. I will also be doing the broadfoot racing pulley set while I do this power steering overhaul, along with the nearly due belt job. I will also do the water pump and thermostat as well While I am in there. Good to do it all if ya got the whole font end apart, and it is all due.
Next is the one part I was looking for but would never pay for. The original rear cargo hatch vinyl cover that pulls across the hatch and latches. They always do way too much $$$ online and I do not like the aftermarket products, figure I would hold out for the right one. Well, I found it, great price too and MINT!!! After cleaning it up with armorall and mounting it in it looks brand new, nice...
Check out a few pics of the hatch up showing off the cargo cover and mint sunroof bag as well, lookin toooo good.

Another grab at the Hershey swap was the rear trim interior piece that covers the sunroof latches, etc. Looks brand new as well, great deal for the money spent.

AND, check this out. I luckily stumbled across a real clean original Porsche 944 OEM tool kit, grabbed that up in a hurry!!!

Also, I overhauled the cold air intake again, slightly modding the setup and bracket system to mount it tight, came out sweeeet and is super functional, car runs great.

A few random show off pics for your viewing enjoyment, haha...

Hope you enjoyed my update, I sure as hell do, can't be happier with my project. We made out like bandits at the PCA Hershey swap meet, got all kinds of good stuff and just really had a great overall time, can't wait till the next one!!!
See ya there fellow Porsche friends...
I am going to leave you with a few pics of the springtime beasts, they are outta the garage and very active. We ride every chance we get, for sure. My son and I recently joined an ATV Park here in PA, super cool place with tons of ground and trails. We are hittin it every chance we get!!!
So, my sons beast Aim-Ex 110 and my Vito 240 powered custom Yamaha Blaster, check um out. I recently installed a Diamond J Customs +6" front end widening kit to the Blaster, really came out nice. Painted the A-Arms during the overhaul, nice touch and way functional. Handles great and just a blast to rip. Hope you enjoy, stay tuned for more Porsche Project updates!!!!
