riverknight007's 1998 Chevrolet Camaro

I got this Camaro at the end of June and have been looking at ways to improve it ever since. I installed a Whisper Lid and Holley PowerShot Air Filter. (If anyone is wondering the Whisper Lid is extremely easy to install and took me about 15 minutes of me really taking my time and doing everything carefully.)

Some future mods/buys:
-Transgo Shift Improver
-tint rear window

Well here are some pics of my car with the grill and headlight covers on. I think it looks real sweet. I am looking at a Stage 2 transmission kit, magnaflow exhaust (unsure if I should do it myself or not), or ram air to do next.

I also put white backings on my gauges and changed the lighting to be blue behind it. I didn't get enough bulbs so the small gauges on the lower left are still yellow, but you can see what the new parts of the gauges will look like. I'll post some daytime pics and better night pics (these don't really give it justice) of it when I get them too!

I got the bulbs and backings from whitegauges.net and have ordered more bulbs to complete the project.

This second picture is the dash with all the new lights in it. It is a little brighter than it is in reality because of the long exposure on the picture, but you get the idea of how sweet it looks. I also got reflective red "CAMARO" letters for the rear fascia from Brent Franker and put those on. The picture isn't very good because I took it when my car was kind of dirty and it was raining outside, but I wantef to at least just get a picture up.

Finally got a few new tires because my other ones were almost bald... that was no good.
Well I've installed the Catback exhaust and it is AWESOME!!! I installed it myself with my friend in about 3 hours and it was prety easy, especially considering neither of us have ever done something like that before. I got a 2.5" Magnaflow catback exhaust with 3" polished tips. They look and sond really good. They sound strong, but aren't overly loud. It is a good deep rumble.

I also put in a SLP Ram Air box... another easy install that feels like it helped my power out. It took about an hour to do.

I just got a blue neon light to go under my dash to put a soft blue glow on the pedals when I flip a switch. It should be pretty sweet, but I am trying to figure out how to install it. It seems easy enough, I am just trying to figure out where to get the power from.

So I took the power from the wires going into the cigarette lighter and put a switch down by my right leg to turn the lights on. It looks very very cool. I am going to take some pics soon of it. Once I figured it out it was pretty easy to do. I think I need to fix my tranny as the valve control body is getting worn according to my SES light resulting in a hard 1-2 upshift. Hopefully it won't cost too much. Cross your fingers on that one. I am not sure what I am going to do next. I am probably going to tint the windows this summer and also repaint the right side where someone keyed it before I bought it.

I got a new head unit too. It has a sick touch screen that slides out of the dash and pops up. It synchs with my iPod and can play DVDs and stuff. I like it a lot. It is great for those long trips to school and back with my brothers. You just drive for a bit and then switch and just watch movies the rest of the time. I'll try to get some pics of that up soon.

Here is a random pic of some of my friends and I at the Journey/Def Leppard concert in Fall '06. It was pretty sick... would def do it again. Crazy tailgating with the car wide open blasting Journey.
