purchased this 85 bronco II for $600 back in june of 06. i'll be driving it for the rest of college and probably keep it afterwards and turning it into a 5.0 offroading machine. so i'm planning on puttin a lot of work into it. right now it has the 2.8 V6 and 5-speed manual which seem to be in pretty good shape considering the 150k miles. the interior is good as well other than the lack of a headliner of anykind and considering it's older than me.

after lookin around online at various places i've come up with several mods i'd like to accomplish (as i get the money of course)

warn hubs
D35 front
8.8 rear
e-brake
normal brake
rear windows plastic
paint
offroad lights
push button starter
big tires
spare tire/wheel
jack, stands, creeper
dash cover
door panels
engine
transmission
lift
sheet metal
bed liner
new dash
vinyl for rear seats
interior
seats (2)
harnesses (2)
harness bar
roll cage

just got some "baja tough" off road lights mounted on my brush guard. still have to wire them but they look pretty good sittin there.

so far i've just replaced filters, changed the oil, and tried to clean it up a bit. there's quite a bit of rust which is a little disconcerning... bodywork may be in the future as well...

Thanks for checking out my site. Nice looking truck you got there. Get working on the mods now. Once you start doing stuff to it you'll never quit. It's addicting! Have fun!

Nice looking Bronco II, Taking the glass was easy, I did it on a hot day and use a small but wide flat screwdriver and put some pressure on the glass around the edge.

hey whats up? thanks for lookin at my page. making removeable doors is simple and very cheap. first take the door off the hinge, then use a hacksaw or sawzall to cut out the pins. then drive to home depot with no doors and buy some galvanized nuts and bolts. they look like this: []:::::::::\\\\\ then just put em in. p.s. the top bolts need to go in upsidedown. hope that helps. see ya at broncoii.org!
