1st time out of the driveway from the build was to the Hot Rod Power Tour '06
3.1 60*, powder coated inside and out, Turbo rods w/ ARP rod bolts, Arias Forged pistons and Hastings double moly rings.
With the twin turbos in place, there wasn't enough room for the stock vacuum booster and master cylinder. A Buick Grand National Powermaster unit was shoehorned into place.

The floorboard required modification due to the later model subframe, steering gear and exhaust outlet. The floor was rewelded and seamsealed.
The engine just about finished. All the accessories in place, wiring and plumbed. The intake still uses the Cowl Induction which the stock X-11 were equipped with.
Serpintine belt system is fabricated from a 3.1 front cover - power steering and alternator brackets fab'ed from 1/4 stock. Crankshaft balancer is an aluminum underdriven unit. Fiero aluminum valve covers keep the top side sealed.
B&M Megashifter mated to the Grand Prix console. Shifter is a ratchet type shifter so there's no hunting for the next gear during hard runs. Gage at the lower right is for the AirLift airbag system.
Originally an A body dash, it now sports a custom carbon fiber gage panel with Autometer gages and VDO speedometer. VDO Extreme tach, pod gages to monitor the boost and fuel/airmixture. Eurosport steering wheel with the OE X-11 emblem round out the column. Equipped with a Goodwrench twilight sentinal / perimmiter lighting system keeps the road lit at night.
