All the evidence of boneheads building engines...

Here is the heads and the passanger's side was cracked but that pic will come later. Here they are before the machine shop and after. buddy67lincoln's 1984 GMC Sierra buddy67lincoln's 1984 GMC Sierra

Looks like stop leak was poured in here before I bought it...hmm

Stop leak clogs steam holes which 400's have! What a meathead.

Intake with EGR when the engine isn't set up to have EGR. Again..bonehead move by the creator of the beast.

Here is a look at the new head with the one good one that lived to make it another day. The new one was actually from a 72 like the ones that were on the truck. They were both punched out 30 thousandths over to avoid having to get the guides replaced. Whats another mile per gallon when you already get 8-9mpg?

Here is the top of the 400 with the heads and intake off.

Here she is almost all done. Almost looks like a different engine with those heads painted gray. No time for shining her all up yet, but I will get to the red/orange later on when I find a dollar on the street. This truck has emptied my wallet to the last buck. buddy67lincoln's 1984 GMC Sierra buddy67lincoln's 1984 GMC Sierra
