12/18/08-SOLD!  I sold the truck to someone in New Castle, PA area so if you live out there and you see it rolling around, let me know how its looking!  Bought on Thursday, in the body shop Friday!  I Hope its in good hands.  To show you the market with these trucks in daily driver/fair to good condition they are on the rise.  I sold this for $5300.  They are finally appreciating a little in value.  I did a lot of work to this truck though mechanically so that helped.  It needed nothing but body work and a few odds and ends like detailing underside and engine.  Thanks for all the compliments!  I will miss this truck a lot.

12/16/08-Looks like it might be sold...I will post for sure by the end of the week.  I will miss this truck.  This truck is now for sale...unofficially, but I am sure if I find a descent home for it...its going. I need to sell it because I cannot store it in a garage since I no longer drive it daily. Its just going to get deteriorated sitting in PA weather. I love this truck, but a new project has come up, a 1956 Pontiac 2 door hard top and thats hard to find so I would like to get it, but have to sell this to do so. This truck means a lot to me and its a hard decision, but its my only option. I have done a ton of work mechanically to this truck and I have 100 receipts to prove it totaling over $3600+ in engine rebuild, suspension, brake system, tires, steering, exhaust, and it served its purpose well...look cool, piss off police, and be loud! I used it for my last year and half of college and bought an 06 since this sucker is thirsty but I needed a daily driver that did not support exxon as much. The truck IS inspected and it is legal in PA. Read this site and learn about what I have done to it in the last year and a half. Thanks for all the great comments in the past and the fans at every gas station and red light! A true head turner. Ask any questions through email or on this site or visit the craigslist site: This truck on Craigs List site jdlyman243@gmail.com Asking $5500

Before I get into tellin you about this truck (which has come a looong way in 6 months), and she runs like a champ now minus a weak Q-Jet that needs overhauled, but 2 barrels out of 4 workin is better on gas anyways! Highway she gets about 10mpg I hope and in town a bit worse around 7-8mpg. The bugger is quick though; don't even realize your up to 65 with a touch of the throttle! Feel free to read through the disaster that was my last 6 months with this truck. From steering and suspension to blown head gaskets and almost everything in between I have just about done it all my GMC.

Just bought a set of 35 inch Hankook Dynapro Mud Terrian RT03 tires for the winter. Can't wait to see how they perform. They are 35/12.5/15 I hope the smaller tire helps with fuel mileage. The 39's destoyed my steering box so I might keep the 35's for now. Here they are on the truck before my horrible trip back to state college that took 11 hours and was supposed to be 2.5 hours. Here she is right before I left home on my looong trip back. The 35's look alrite on there with the 8 inches of lift.

I just bought this truck July 9th, 2006. I actually bought the truck on a whim. Not a good idea but the pics tell it all. Its in pretty darn good condition and had a 6 inch lift with 2 inch body lift, 39 inch MT Baja Belted tires, a 400 cu. in. small block with an old Q-Jet carb that needs to go backed by a Turbo 350 3 speed tranny, headers, dual exhaust. NP208 transfer case. 12 bolt rear; Dana 44 front. Power windows, locks, a rollbar with tauno cover and most of it is in good shape except for the locks and one power window switches. Also has only 76,000 miles on it and 3.73 gears. I have a lot to learn about the truck yet as for what kind of lift it has and all that good stuff.

I took the cab spoiler off and its for sale, so buy it! Its black of course and all the hardware that you need is there that I took off the truck. I am filling the holes one of these weekends. Also, the headlight cover and bug deflector are also for sale. They might go up up on Ebay soon but I will post pics here first till I do. I can sell them all or individually I guess. Let me know. The headlight covers cover the two vertical headlights and its all one piece. email is jdl243@psu.edu
