March 14th: This is my 2001 Corvette. I picked it up in an Auction with just under 22k miles for $17,500. Quite a steal if you ask me.
It comes with the HUD system, power everything, leather seats, the Bose Stereo system(including the 12disc CD-changer in the trunk), and 350 crank horsepowerout of an LS1 5.7litre Aluminum small-block Pushrod V8. The motor and fuel system can take quite a bit of mods before needing to be beefed up. All in due time.
July 26th update: Just picked up a Borla Stinger Dual tip exhaust, PN# 140017 and had it installed by Supershop here in El Cajon. Fit is perfect, sound is very awesome, looks great, only bad thing is it still feels slow when I jump on the throttle. Those 2.73 gears are really taking away a huge amount of performance from the car down low.
November 2006 update: Car went into a Guardrail to avoid a chick who crashed her 2006 Corvette right infront of me during a spirited run. Broke my right front upper control arm, and gave the right side a nice kiss. I'll post pictures later.
April 2007 update: Car's still at the body shop, but she's getting painted black. I have a set of Z06 speedline wheels waiting in the wings, as well as all the parts to convert the car to a 6spd, including the 3.42 gear swap. I had bought an NX Nitrous wet kit for her, but that, as well as 2 sets of Z06 shocks, a set of Z06 motorsport wheels, and 2 sets of kumho track tires are for sale, to fund additional mods for the car. My goal is to have Twin Turbos and the 6spd conversion powering her by Christmas. Pictures pending.

Latest Update: I've 'sold' this C5 to my old man to finance a supercharged C5. It's still in my name and my insurance policy, but as far as I'm concerned, it's 100% his. She will be missed, but only for her exhaust, mileage, and intake manifold(the 01 and newer had the LS6 intake manifold which is worth 5-15rwhp over the standard LS1).
The Black wheeled C5 is the new baby. The one with the stock wheels is my 01' that was repainted after a date with a Guard Rail.
