August update: Picked up the 99' Spec OEM wing from my buddy Jimmy at Panda Garage. Looks sharp as hell and I can't wait to get it painted and on the car.
Oh man where do I begin. I seem to love projects, especially ones that could be junked real easily from the condition I find them in. This 93' R1 was bought in an insurance auction, and probably would have been sitting in the wrecked condition I got it in, if I hadn't heard about it. After seeing it, I decided, I wanted to get her back on the road. We're still in the process of finishing up some interior and engine work, but she's come a long way. Depending on how the Rotary and I get along, will determine whether I stay with it like all the rotor-heads out there, or go with the growing group of V8 swappers for these absolutely beautiful cars.
I do plan on doing all the necessary 'reliability' upgrades to help keep her cool, and from detonating on me. Anyway, on with the pictures of before, and after
