This is my 89 Honda Prelude 2.0Si. Ive had this car since July of 06 and had 2 other 89 Preludes before it. I got about halfhway through building it (the way you see it here) and found ALOT of rust on the rear floor under the seat. The rust was caused by leaky rear quarter window seals but is savable. As a result when I get time away from the DA Ive decided to strip the Prelude down bare and do a full build/restoration like im doing with my DA. The H22A swap will remain but just about everything else will be different. Thank you for looking and feel free to drop comments.

Engine:
-H22A1 OBD1 engine, p13 ecu and 5 speed transmisson/shifter (cut down 2 inches) and cables

-H23A manual timing belt tensioner conversion

-90 Prelude Si B21 OBD1 engine harness (heavily modified), fusebox/dash harness (also heavily modified), electical vss/gauge cluster

-AZ Race and Machine H22A swap mounts

-Greddy 93-96 Prelude 4-2-1 Header and Evo 2 cat back exhaust piping

-APC 94-97 Accord short ram intake (modified into cold air using Injen 240sx piping)

-Kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit

-MSD Blaster 2 coil, 6AL ignition box

-Russell braided stainless steel clutch fluid line

-NGK iridium spark plugs

 -Wire/vacuum hose tuck

-Red 4ga engine ground wires

-Assorted braided stainless and red silicone hoses

-Painted bright aluminum head and block

-Removed P/S, A/C, Cruise control, Intake Air Bypass Valve

-Battery relocated to the trunk

-Red painted valve cover

-Nighthawk Black Pearl engine bay

Parts needed to finish the swap:

-Custom front crossmember/radius rods possibly available on preludepower.com

-ATI harmonic balancer

-Explicit Speed Performance lower d series alternator bracket and H22A header

-92-95 Civic alternator

 -Finish all wiring

-Raxles custom cv shafts

I got tired of the mess on the firewall. Its still not finished but better than it was.

I removed the egr valve, heater hoses, charcoal canister, and emissions valves. The fuel filter IS just hangin there for now but not for long. (i still havent finished the car)

The Mounts that made this all possible after 6 yearss. THANK YOU AZ RACE!!!!!!!!!

At some point I plan to change the block out or an F23 vtec block from a 98 Accord, its cheap, more displacement than an H22A and with stock intenals drops compression to 8.8 with an H22A cylinder head. Budget turbo motor anyone?

Suspension and Brakes:

-No name DA Integra coil-overs

-Brembo slotted rotors (F)

-AEM pads (R)

-Powerslot rotors (F)

-Axxis pads (R)

-Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings

5*'s for H22 swap. I'd love to do that if it was in the budget. In the process of a JDM B20A swap myself. Keep up the good work, that cars going to be a beast!
