Okay let's start things off I'm Cody
Anyways you're looking at my 1996 Sierra. Well I've done most of my mods without taking photo's so sorry not to many before and after pictures but i'll get them up as soon as possible,i've just finished the lift an pics to follow check it out Next mods.. Alright.. Starters. Stereo, I'm upgrading to two s7 Kicker squares instead of my already sweet ass CVR's, followed by a Premier 4000 Watt Amp, I figure should run them. And followed by that would be a Double Din Alpine DVD deck, with navigation.. all custom job and built. My motor is in the process of being put together.. I'm talking a brand new 350 Vortec.. Oh I'm not done.. I'm putting Stroker cranks in and making a Fuel Injected 383 Vortec Stroker... Awesome.. then...you supercharge the beast..add a 3 in body lift, and round that off with some 37in tires.. top it off with some ghost flames on a black body...that... that my friends.. is the most kick ass truck in the world.. cue the Dr.Evil Laugh

O.o SOOO many questions!! ok..i got the bumper back when I used to go mudding and wheeling every weekend. The lights were great untill i submerged my front end in some water and they filled with water and shorted out. So maybe not the best off-road lights but i replaced the stock lights with some better sealed ones and havnt had any problems since. Ok gears I managed for a month or two with the stock gears but it would shift down all the time going over hills but i was getting decent gas milage with the old gears. Now with the 4.88s it honestly has more power now than it did totally stock with no lift or 37in tires but i wouldnt go with 4.88s unless your getting a 37or 38in tire. And about the tranny ....well it didnt hold up real well at all but I had it rebuilt and beefed up as much as he could ...that was two years ago havnt had any problems out of it ...(and i dont drive like a grandmaw XD)o the 383 ...IS A BEAST o also i do have a K

I like it! Where'd you find all that mud? The farmers around here get irate, if you tear up their fields, even if they aren't planting them!John

Great looking GMC, that thing is ready for some great off-roadin', there is so much that can be done to them, what's next for it? I have a Dodge, with a few mods. It would not do very well off-road, not like your truck.
