1966 Isuzu Ballett. stage 3 cam, over size valves, ported head both intake and exhaust, over size pistons stroked to a 2ltr, fire ball 700 ignition, tuned length stanless steel extractors, heavy duty clutch, locked diff, A9X torana flairs, just newly painted in blue with a perple pearl, 215/50/13inch all around, its a little beast. They didnt have my model in the list so i chose the top one but yeh thats all good i know its not a 117 and thats all that matters.ballett14's 1966 Isuzu 117

Hi guys Andrew Here. I'm adding to the total of Belletts on Cardomain. It's good to see others around! Shortly I'll post a photo of my 1970 yellow street driver rebuilt about 4 years ago, bored to take Gemini pistons , rods fully balanced and blueprinted with stainless extractors. I redid the interior and gave it a spray job. It's nowhere near as mean as Johns which looks a treat and which must go like a bullett. I've had a donor car for some years as well - a blue 1968 which i am about to turn into a Group N historic racer. I wonder if some of you could help me source some engine components as overboring beyond 60 thou' would render it ineligible. are there any ideas about how to make a stock engine really go - and how to make a Bellett stop on the standard drums!. I'd appreciate any collective experience on any aspect - period carburation (1 1/2 inch SU's?), cams, headwork, suspension, brake linings etc.

Duuuuude! I saw this thing a few years ago on eBay and buzzed out! Then last year, my mate was travelling thru NSW (we're from SA) and he saw this thing cruising down the freeway with a pair of skinny stockies in the back and emailed these photos of the "Trust Bellett". You think I buzzed out then! WHOAH! Australia is smaller than you think! Hey do you know how it ended up with the A9X-style body kit on it???? Also, those headlight surrounds are for the Isuzu Wasp! Rare-as! If you want to sell them or swap them for some sedan ones, let me know! The grille is a sedan item; you can keep that! Awesome car dude, keep up the good work! Hey can you come to the Bellett Nationals? 25 and 26 October 2008 in Corowa NSW! BRING IT!!!!!!!!! Dave
