then the fun begins : ) first stages of paint prep

finished and getting ready to put everything back ... still no dammm windows .. and had only 3 hours till a car show .. stressful day!!!!
some pics of when i changed the interior from the skyline grey color to black. in the door inserts where the stock gts-t had the same material as the seats and are known to always fall off lol i used red alcantara as inserts.the headliner i used grey alrantara .. dont look at the nasty dome light .. im trying to get one .. the previous owner smoked a lot i think ..well the stains and smell said he did .. but no more smell : ) the bfore pics are the last two.
below are pics of my headlights when i changed the housing from chrome to flat black : ) and the orange corner lights i think looks great with the bay side blue .. not sure how others feel lol
a few show pics from the same day the car was finished being painted .. wasn't the greatest show i prob will not do another show here .. it was rushed and i had a loan of the wheels lol
had to use 3 washers on each wheel stud to clear my front and rear calipers...and the girls sat on my hood and the paint was fresh so we had to buff ass prints out of the hood .. not that i was complaining : P.. the last pic is not from the day of the show but it was the day after while i was doing some engine work... it gives an idea of what the car looks like now ..
well thats all for now .... its winter here now .. but this spring will bring as said in the description an engine, bigger turbo and stand alone .. and shooting for 600+ in the light gts-t chassis .. that number is just where im shooting .. i may @h*t my self long before that lol so we will see ..
