This is the 1978 Trans Am I recently bought. This first page is pictures of what the car looked like when I brought it home.

Here are some closer shots of the rear that show the slight ripples in the rear quarter panels. Other than these slight ripples the rest of the car is flawless.

My original plan was to find an old 78 and paint it black like the car from Smokey and the Bandit. The previous owner of this car already had the interior redone in red and it was in such good condition that I couldn't bare to change it to black. He was working on totally restoring the car to its factory condition so I decided I would go ahead and pick up where he left off. All it needs is a few coats of platinum silver paint and a red hood bird and decals and its will be pretty much finished. If anyone in the Birmingham, AL area knows any good body shops let me know.
