The start of a legend.....tee hee!
August 5-6

We took the front fenders, nose, & hood off the car. The engine compartment is going to be pressure washed and repainted. Hopefully this car will not need this again for another 40 years.

Rally II wheels (14 x 6) mounted on new tires, still need the dark metalic paint.

The intake manifold that came off the car is a Edelbrock Performer RPM Pontiac. Soon to be replaced with a date casted 1968 Ram Air I intake manifold.

August 12-13

The engine was cleaned and repainted Pontiac Blue. So were the calipers! My hair changed colors too!

Floorboards were stripped and primed with a rust proof paint.

The lame sunroof it being replaced with a piece of sheet metal from a Grande Prix hood.

September 15-17
-Starting to look like a real car!

The car was sanded & painted a flat black to prevent rusting over the winter

This is all you will see anyways, taillights! Savor the moment.......
