WHEELS:
I chose SSR GT7 rims. Its very hard to find rims to fit a VR4 as the car has a large offset due to the all-wheel drive and large calipers. I decided on a 17x8.5 rim, which is the original size, but saves 9.5lbs off the original rims. The GT7's weigh slightly less than 17lbs. They look great on the car, but are a pain in the ass to keep clean.
TIRES:
I went with Fuzion HRi's. Inexpansive and offer great grip and handling for everyday applications. Also, they had one of the longest warranties on a performance tire without going over $200+ each. Got these at Firestone for $120 apiece. I've put these to the test on dry and wet roads and are very confident in them. I did however find out the hard way that even with AWD and AWS, performance tires don't get great snow traction...OUCH!
SPRINGS:
TEIN H-Techs. Will drop the car 1-1.2 inches. Give it better handling, but not so aggresive its uncomfortable to drive long distances. Can still use the stock ECS (Electronically Controlled Suspension, two modes Tour and Sport. You can change on the fly, Sport makes the struts stiffer, less body roll). Best part about them? The aren't GREEN...
