Well to start off, I bought this car off my friend Tom in April of 2006. I had seen Rivieras before but very rarely. Then I in the Summer of 2005 I went to the West Coast Kustoms Car show in Paso Robles, California and I fell in love with a black '65 Rivi. The one that you'll see at the end of the picture strip. Since then, I've always told myself I'd buy one. And I finally did!

My car is White with tan interior. It has the original 15" rallys with white wall tires. It packs a 425ci engine and a Turbo 400 Tranny. The engine is rebuilt with 15K miles and the tranny is also rebuilt. The tranny just go put in the car last week. What a difference once that tranny got rebuilt and went in!

So far, what I've put into the car:
1. Brand new headliner, original matching floor carpet.
2. Recored original Radiator like new!
3. Replaced missing headlight bezel.
4. Removed windshield wipers and added chrome bullets.
4. Installed a complete new dual exhaust with (2)Flowmasters.
5. Installed an airbag system with slam specialties air bags.
6. 9/8/06 Slapped on my 18x8 and 20x10 Torque Thrust II wheels.
7. 452 Falken tires.
8. Wicked Skull hood ornament!
9. Rebuilt the carbuerator
10. Kustom 3-stage black and metallic gold paint job.
11. Metallic Copper pinstripe to divide the two colors.
12. Shaved door handles.
13. Shaved antenna, cowl vents and back window chrome stripe.
14. Painted grille black except the horizontal chrome lines.
15. Replaced all 4 wheel cylinders and master cylinder.
16. Cleaned and repainted the engine compartment.
17. Valve covers were cleaned and redone.
18. Rebuilt the 400Turbo Tranny.
19. Replaced "Riviera" emblems.

In Process:
1. Currently rebuilding the clamshell motor for the headlights.

Future Plans:
1. Redo the truck and Kustomize it with a premium sound system.
2. Rebuild the distributor to eliminate point and make electric. (DONE)
3. Rebuild the dashboard in black.
4. Add new wood veneers in the interior.
5. Apply die to door panels to restore the original color.
7. And most important, an ALARM (to keep off the haters)!

I think I've said enough for now. Please sign my guest book and drop any suggestions or comments. Thanks Rivi Lovers!
