Well this is my dailey driver. I originally bought an 89 GTU but the body went to hell on it. So a friend of mine found me this 88 for cheap. I picked it up and was going to drive it until it got warm and then swap motors but it didn't work that way. I drove it 2 and a half days and the motor puked. Go figure. So I had to do a motor swap from my 89 to my 88. That was fun to say the least. Thank god for having a neighbor with a lift and air tools.

The motor is far from stock. It is still a 2.8L 60 degree V6 but its been bored .040 over. A comp cams 212/212 110 lobe seperation camshaft. Special head and intake work by "the mad sceintist."

Thats all for now but I have plans to add a 3100 or 3400 intake to it. 305 TPI injectors, custom headers with 2 1/2 to 3 inch exaust, and a burnt chip from PCM for less or whoever can do it. Thats all I plan on doing to the motor. What is does is what it does. I have my camaro for my toy. This is just going to be my everyday driver and don't need to go crazy.

I do plan on upgrading the suspension with KYB shocks and eibach springs to give it better handling. The interior is basicaly stock expect the UGLY ass steering wheel that came with it. I am in search of a stock one with the cruise controls. I just like the oem wheel for some reason.

I have installed a small stereo into it for now. I'm running a poineer head unit with poineer 4" fronts and stock 6"x9" in the deck which will be replaced to pioneer in the future. For subs I'm running 2 MTX 10"s being pushed by an Sony Explode 1000 watt amp. I learned my lesson from the first time to add a farrad cap so I don't blow the battery or alternator. Isn't a cheap fix trust me.

I hope to add more pictures in the near future of everything but until then you'll have to deal. Thanks for visiting, come back again!
