This is my PRO STREET 1981 Ford Mustang LX notch back with a 460 big block.

This is what my car look like when I got it in 2004 plain Jane from my buddy "Shawn". It didnt take long before I started to make changes.

A original 79 pace car nose was the first thing I bought, looks better then the stock nose. I picked it up at the ford swap meet at National Trails Raceway for 80 dollars also found the fog light bracket on ebay for 54 dollars. I used my spare fog lights from my SVO. The 4" fiberglass cowl hood I got from
H.O.FIBERTREND. Then i had the car painted dark cannon red. This car has less than 1,500 mile on it.
If you are looking to find a lower spoiler check this site out
MAIER RACING. They also have listing for 83-93 lower front air dam.

87-93 tail lights where installed which gives it a better look. I just didnt like those stock 81 tail lights. Also put smoked lenses on. Some bolts dont line up just use the ones that you can. The sticker in the back window says "ford, eatin chevys, shittin dodges" just in case you couldent read it.

Weld drag lights and factory sunfoof.

1970 460 Big Block with a tci super street fighter c6 trans, shift kit, manuel valve body, 2500 stall, trans cooler, victor intake, hooker headers, flowmasters, comp cam, 7 quart canton oil pan, mallory unilight dist, 3 core radiator, billet caster camber plates, power master 100 amp one wire altinator, custom aluminum hood props, holley fuel pump and regulator, 750 holley, ford racing aluminum valve covers, march pullies and brackets, msd blaster coil, accel spark plug wires, duel electric fans. Notice there is nothing mounted to the firewall. All the wires and every thing has been hidden.

Take a look at my oil filter. Its billet aluminum and its made buy trufilter, jegs sells these but they are expensive but they do have a lifetime warranty. They come apart so you can clean it. The screen is stainless steel, its got rubber o rings, and a magnet to catch the small stuff. There is no oil bypass on this so it filters the oil 100% of the time. It filters down to 4 microns. The aprons and the firewall is hand laid fiberglass, a lot of work was put into this. The power brake unit is located behind the glove box.

The car has been back halft with ladder bars and aluminum coil over shocks. The ford 9 inch rearend has been shortend with strange 35 spines axles 4.56 gears and a detroit locker. The aluminum 20 gallon fuel cell is custom made.

The rear rims are 15 inches wide with 29 x 16.5 inch hoosier tires. The tires I run is for a late model dirt track car. I get them from a buddy pretty cheap and they work well.

The interior is out of a 90 mustang. Its 98% done. The carpet in the back is done now but I dont have a pic of it yet. The shifter is a b+m hammer with the adapter kit for the stock 90 center console. I also had to buy an adapter for the c6 trans for this shifter. For safety we have polly race seats with 5 point harneses and an 8 point roll cage and has a full square tube chassie

Just put on my new billet horn button. It has ford ingraved on it. I think it looks better the the stock grant one.

The trunk is completly flat. The tire well was removed so the fuel cell would sit high up in the car. You can see in the one pic the fuel cell cap. Thats where you put the gas. The battery is also in the trunk for better traction. It so an opptima red top with a billet aluminum battery box.

I have seven mustang total. Count this as one, 93 Mustang LX, 91 Mustang GT, 88 Mustang LX, 84 Mustang SVO, 84 Mustang LX, and 83 Mustang GT T-Top. Check out my other web site. Has picture of all my cars.
