Just some photos up close. The old Race Winner decals. P.I.D closed the track in 1976 and Keystone is now P.R.P. , Pittsburgh Pa. Old Keystone trophy from 1974. My SC/Rambler model parked in its garage !!! As far as I know the Hurst SC/Rambler was the only American muscle car with full reclining seats. This SC still gets driven. I don't like it when I get caught in the rain as it can be hard to keep on the road!!!!!!! I dreamed of owning one of these cars for years. It sure feels great that my dream came true and I hope everyone that reads this will be lucky enough to own their dream ride no matter what it is. ( Might want to take a look at a American Motors Muscle Car )
This man by my SC is named Dave. Dave has wanted to own a Hurst SC/Rambler for many years. He is now looking to buy one but has had no luck with finding one he can get.He had only ever seen one in real life so he made the three hour trip to see my SC at a local show. He really liked the car so after I gave him a lot of info about the cars I decided to take him for a ride. He couldn't believe the power the SC/Rambler has. I decided to make his day and let him drive it for about 10 miles, man was he happy !!!!! Hell, it made me feel great that he was enjoying the car so much. I hope he finds his dream SC/Rambler someday but if not at least I was able to let him drive his dream car. Dave might not understand that I had as much fun as he did that day. It was great. I have fun with this rare car by using it, I will never restore it. Good luck Dave !!!!!
This ad was in a magazine for the car show that Dave came to. It is cool that he can have this to remind him of the date he was able to drive his dream car. Thanks, Matt
