Hello ,
The first photo is of my 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler that has just been replicated as a Johnny Lighting diecast!!!! This Head to Head Twin pack will be sold at the Toys "R" Us stores in July ,2007. Check out the license plates if you get a set, it has our names, Val and Matt on them !!! Good looking AMX in the set as well. I never dreamed I could have so much fun owning a Rambler,it's great.
This is my rare 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler (B) paint scheme. This SC/Rambler also has the very rare Edelbrock AMC part number CROSS-RAM INTAKE on its 390 cu.in engine. This SC/rambler is a unrestored car with 36,000 miles on it. The car was repainted in 1979. For the AMC guys out there, this (B)paint scheme SC/Rambler had the (A)paint scheme stripe over the roof and trunk added in 1972. The owner of the dealership that ordered the car says he thinks he remembers the hood graphics always being on the car.
This SC was running the 1/4 mile in 12.61 with the stock 354 gears back in the early 70's . It was a eight time class winner at Keystone race way just outside of Pittsburgh Pa. I have the old time slips with old photos of the car racing back then.
Here is a old photo of this SC coming off the line back then.
This photo shows some of the old Class Winner decals on the window. Note the magazine on the seat with this SC in it. The car appeared in many national magazines last year, (2005).
This is just a photo of my SC/Ramblers bedroom. I also use it as my office but I never get any work done !!!! I also have a TV , beer refrigerator and a play station video game in there. I always wanted a nice room for my dream car and Harley, this room lets me enjoy them even in the winter.
This is a painting of my Hurst SC/Rambler that was done by top auto artist Danny Whitfield.Mr Whitfield has completed pieces for comedian Bill Cosby , talk show host Jay Leno ,former Ford Motor Co. Chairman Alex Trotman and Chrysler Corporation President Robert A. Lutz.
Note the race vehicle plaque that certifieds this SC/Rambler in the race car class for the A.A.C.A. (Antique Automobile Club of America) The SC won a first place at one of their national meets. Both plaques are now on the grille of the car.If you ever want to see the finest examples of Classic,Antique and Muscle Cars just go to one of their events as they are just great.

This is a photo that was taken at a local bar. My friend has a nice 1968 AMX with a 390 auto trans. One of the girls thought it would be fun to take her picture with the cars. Looks like 1969 all over again in 2006. Just thought I would let you know we were not drinking at the bar !!!!!!!!
The old AMC cars are a lot of fun and their muscle cars were very quick. Don't make a mistake and over look one if you ever get the chance to pick one up.
