I finally finished the interior. It was the last part of my build up. I searched for a while to find the exact seats I wanted. They needed to be very comfortable for trips plus look great. I wanted to bring some of the grey from the exterior into the black interior. The combination of the black, chrome and grey just sounded right. To accent it, I went with blue lights.

Since the Mustang has no room in the back and I would never have people in the back seat anyway, I decided to go with a rear seat delete and incorprate a sub and amp into the shelf to go with a stereo upgrade. In my search for a good quality rear seat delete kit, I found K-Dezines. I called and talked to Keith and explained my vision of what I wanted to do with the interior. Unfortunately it was somewhat incomplete and much of what I wanted didn't exist yet and needed to be fabricated. Keith didn't hesitate for a moment and came up with some great ideas. I was shocked when I got the kit, the fit is perfect!

For the stereo I went with:

Head unit
Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD
In-Dash Double-DIN 6-Disc DVD/CD Multimedia AV Receiver
w/backup camera and iPod adapter

Speakers and amp all from Maxxsonics

Amplifier
Hifonics Zeus ZXi 8006 Illuminated Amplifier
5 Channel 740-Watts A/B-Class

Sub-Woofer
Hifonics Brutus Illuminated DVC Subwoofer
BX10D2 10-Inch 2-Ohm, 500-Watts RMS

Front Components
MB Quart QSC 210
4" 2-way Component Speakers System
MB Quart QSC 164
6-1/2" Add-A-Woofer-System

Rear Coaxials
MB Quart DKF 168
6"x8" 2-Way 240W Car Speakers

I ran all new Phoenix Gold speaker wire. The rear-view camera connected to the headunit is awesome. When I put the car in reverse, the doulble DIN screen changes to view from the rear of the car. When I take it out of reverse it goes back to where it was. It took me a while to install everything because it was my first time but it all came out perfect. Check it out and let me know what you think.

great job man 5 stars. The Eleanor restoration definitely fits the new mustang body style. I'm currently trying to do an Eleanor... but on a 1989 Mustang. Check it out sometime. And that interior. That is awesome.
