DYNO INFORMATION! 478 RWHP - 450 TQ

The Reaper finally made it to the trip to the dyno. My scedule is very hectic and trying to combine that with the hectic schedule of JDM Engineering was pretty tough but I finally made it in. I was very determined to specifically go to JDM and have Jim D'Amore work some of his magic on the Reaper. Jim has been very succesfully tuning and racing the S197 since it's release. The really amazing thing is the torque curve! Notice it immediately goes up to 400 and almost never drops below it until the very end at 385! You can really feel it too driving the car.

Finally made it out to the track with the Reaper all tuned up. I ran an 11.52 @ 119.02 mph with a .047 reaction.

Old track info - 12Aug06
Well I finally made it to the track but not without some drama. I put my 3.5x15" Bogart Welded R/Ts on the front just to find that it left my front end on the ground. Literally, I couldn't drive through my flat driveway. I had to put the stock 17" wheels on it. Oh well, not a big deal, the big stickies in the back fit great!

So it was off to the track where I found out the fuel service wasn't open for our club event. OK, now that just sucked! That means I had to run my conservative street tune rather than my race tune. :-(

Still had fun though! I did a nice smokey burnout and got some applause from the crowd. Click on the "BURNOUT" text beside the picture for the video!

My best run on the conservative street tune was 12.07 @ 112.97mph with a 1.739 second 60'. I can't wait to try the race tune, 11s for sure! Click on the "DRAG" text beside the picture for the video!

great job man 5 stars. The Eleanor restoration definitely fits the new mustang body style. I'm currently trying to do an Eleanor... but on a 1989 Mustang. Check it out sometime. And that interior. That is awesome.
