7/16/06 - I finished most of the car 2 weeks ago and just finished some show mods for the interior and engine bay.
I finished just in time to make it to my first car show today. The Metro Area Mustangs and Fords 4rth Anual All Ford Show (Waldorf, MD).
It was very hot, the sun was cooking us. 90*F with no shade. My first car show and I took 1rst place in the S197 category (05+)!
Here's another picture I took of the car at a cruise-in in Virginia. Wow! There were a lot of very nice cars there.
8/27/06 - Took the Reaper to the 10th Anual All Ford Summer Car Show at Mason Dixon Dragway in Boonsboro, MD. Although they told me I'd be able to both race and show, the times directly overlapped. Since I live close to the track and can return any time, I decided to enter the anual car show even though I showed up with my racing wheels. 1 guy complained about the class they put me in and had me moved to a special vehicle class with some nice competition. I was beside a couple very nice Saleen Mustangs (early 2000s) and took 2nd place to an absolutely beautiful 69 Boss Mustang. It was a great time and there were tons of stunning Fords there!
I made it to another show in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The 3rd Annual Mustang Rally sponsored by The Mustang Club of Central Pennsylvania. That was an amazing show! There were so many absolutely beautiful Mustangs there. There was a real GT-500KR that was off the chart! There were many specialty Mustangs the work in some of these cars was just amazing.
Best of all I got to get together with a beautifully done 67 Eleanor! I called it, Eleanor and her naughty daughter.
I managed to get another 1rst place in my class. So did the 67 Eleanor.

I made it to Maryland International Raceway's Anual Ford Fever Classic in October 2007 and won Best Mustang and Best Interior! There was some very cool racing going on, I was in the stands when I took that picture. There was a Mustang running the 1/4 mile in the 6s!
