The REAPER in the May 09 issue of Mustang Enthusiast Magazine!

Kevin Harper did a great write-up with lots of details and Bob Stone took some great pictures. If you don't subscribe to Mustang Enthusiat Magazine, pick up a copy at the news stand. If you can't find it, check out the on-line issue at http://www.mustangenthusiast.com The article is 4 pages in the middle of the magazine. With all the great Mustangs out there, this was a dream come true for me!

Major interior overhaul including Corbeua custom leather seats a kickin' sound system and put together in a great package by K-Dezines Custom Audio and Rear Seat Delete - see page 4Reper's 2006 Ford Mustang

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangThe Reaper started life like this, as a 2006 Mustang GT but I saw much more in it! I bought the car at the end of January 2006 and started modifying it the day I brought it home.

Reper's 2006 Ford Mustang15 months later, the project is complete. The exterior with the Cervinis "Eleanor" Kit, engine mods including the Saleen supercharger, drivetrain and suspension mods and finally the interior.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangThe inspiration for the build came from this car, the 1967 Shelby GT-500 Eleanor Mustang. I really mean "inspiration" too. I'm not trying to make an exact duplicate, that would be impossible. The original has its own personality that can never be copied. Instead, this is a modern representation of her.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangI live in the country and the corn fields around me are great for BUGS! These grills loves to catch all of them! I replaced the lower grill with a new billet grill without the fog lights. Although this is different from the Eleanor, I like it better without the lower fog lights. Plus it allows more air to get to the intercooler for the supercharger.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangMy first mod was the rear lights. Like the late 60s Cougar, the Eleanor and GT-500 had sequential tail lights for the turn signals. It was a must have for the total effect. The kit I bought was the STS-1M5 from WebElectric. It wired in very easy and the instructions were great!

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangThe side exhaust is off the chart! Yes, it's functional. Coupled with the Kook's Custom Long Tube Headers, Kook's x-pipe with high flow cats and magnaflow mufflers, she screams! Having the exhaust come from the side just adds that much more to the experience.

I purchased the full body kit and side exhaust from Cervini's. Those guys are great to work with and really care about their customers. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the Cervini's kit. If you have ever bought and body part that didn't fit just right or wasn't good quality, then you know how frustrating it can be to get junk! The kit from Cervini's was PERFECT! Nice even urethane poor, perfect finish and fit like a glove! The fiberglass hood was the best I've ever seen too. Very mild prep and painted to show standards. One thing that quickly separates the quality of aftermarket hoods is the underside. Most are very rough and unfinished. This Cervini's hood looks as good underneath as it does on the top. I wax it too! The kit was installed and painted by Mt. Airy Auto Detailing in Maryland. They did a great job on the kit and painting the stripes. It's a massive job, as you can see there's a lot to the kit.

Chassis mods were handed over to one of the best in the business! Justin Burcham from JPC (Justin's Performance Center) in Glen Burnie, MD handled setting up the suspension for the 1/4 mile. If you don't already know Justin and love Mustangs, you might know his name from one of his many appearances in MM&FF Magazine (like the June 06 cover) or from one of his many track victories.

The engine internals are stock thanks to FORD who knows how to build an engine! The added performance comes from another big name in the business JDM Engineering in Freehold, NJ. I purchased the Saleen supercharger and all of the related/necessary parts from them. They also handled the tune, they know how to make that baby fly and hold it together!

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangI installed the SALEEN Series VI Supercharger myself. I wanted my hands on every piece, no shortcuts - very clean. I just installed the Saleen Extreme CAI, braided hose, Stef's air/oil separator, JDM transmission fluid catch can and Midwest Auto engine dress-up pieces.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangI also did a little dress-up on the interior by adding a very high quality chrome dash kit and several polished billet pieces. The Autometer Cobalt gauges were selected to match the factory gauge cluster. I also just finished installing 3 XD-16 gauges from Innovate Motorsports along with their LM-1 WideBand O2 system and LMA-3 "Aux Box". It is without a doubt the best wideband and data logging setup I've ever seen! For the latest interior pics, see page 4.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangI changed the center dash gauge pod to a Speed Of Sound 3 gauge bullit pod. I really like the design, it flows very well with the car and matches the A-Pillar pod.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangHere's a new pic of the interior with the new TCI Ratchet Shifter. I've been anxiously awaiting this! The quality is very good and really adds to the fun! Plus it looks way better than the stock little plastic thing.

Reper's 2006 Ford MustangHere's a better picture from close up. The grear indicators light up, the boot is leather and it's a nice looking billet piece. Like any good ratchet shifter, it will not ratchet above drive and it has an overdrive lockout. Great job TCI !!

great job man 5 stars. The Eleanor restoration definitely fits the new mustang body style. I'm currently trying to do an Eleanor... but on a 1989 Mustang. Check it out sometime. And that interior. That is awesome.
