Hi, this is my beautiful 1990 Brougham. Nothing special here, no sunroof, no d'Elegance - but that's what makes it mine. And still in likeable condition too.

I bought it on eBay a few months ago, and hitched an eight hour ride to Nebraska on the greyhound. Then it was smooth sailing all the way back home to Texas - and of course, it gave me an opportunity to break her in and get to know her better.
It is so so so very clean. The previous owner always garaged it and hardly ever drove it. The carpet is fluffy and the trunk smells of new Cadillac - I doubt its had much cargo over the years.

She purrs like cat, too. The carburated 307 engine hints of an older era before the electric gadgets and gizmos. The last carburated car in America - and rides like a cloud.
Oh those chrome colored pillers with sleek opera lights. Im my opinion, this is a better choice than its 80's predecessor with an awkward set up. She one of the last chrome buckets American auto makers were still proud to make - before the plastic age.

And just look at that leather, so soft and welcoming. And I bet the back seat has still beckons for passengers as if it were new. Complete with burl trimmed reading lamps and leather arm rest. Oh the comfort!
Still in the garage and not to leave its regular care for quite some time. The result - beautiful paint whose clear coats still polish up like the show floor shine of a brand new Cadillac. Yet it's the steering wheel that gives its wear away - worn from all the handling and highway miles.

Just look at this redesigned dash - very much more appealing to the eye than the previous year. Walnut burl trim graciously complements the sleek yet ostentacious contents, air condition and stereo. A factory compact disc player is soon to reside here too.
Here again that burl trim covers the line of sight, offering just a hint of reflection through its glorious shine, ever more complementing the perfect placement of every scrutinous detail.

Ah but its the driver's seat that tells of its driver. Brilliantly showing its beauty creases and shine of veteran use. Still comfortable as ever and the simple leather stripes give comfort in any situation.
This is my beautifal Brougham. Eleanor is her name, after Eleanor Roosevelt who so eloquently lived and gived just like this car does now with beauty and elegance and unprecedented Cadillac quality!
